We all got dressed up for Purim. I've been told that it's the "fun" Jewish holiday. Gavi tells me that there is some fasting involved, but I find that hard to believe since the rabbis (dressed as Kermit and Miss Piggy) were throwing candy into the congregation during the service. Maybe the fasting was over?
The kids were Thing 1 & Thing 2 & Thing 3 from The Cat in the Hat. Yes, I know there wasn't a Thing 3, but we couldn't leave Ben out. They thought their blue hair was very cool. I give 100% credit for the costume idea to Gavi. I was responsible only for buying the blue hairspray.
