Happy Spring

We found a nest of robins in our Magnolia tree a couple of weeks ago. It is so fun to watch them grow up. The branch is low enough that the kids can easily take a peek. I'm sure that the birds wished they'd chosen a different location, but we've had a great time watching them. They sure do grow fast.

Bye Bye Big Tree

One of the big maple trees in our yard didn't come back to life this spring.


Before (This was a perspective shot I took for my photography class. When I took the photo, I noticed that the tree doesn't have any limbs on one side. Maybe this should have been a clue that something wasn't quite right.)
