Akiva Field Day

We had a great day at Akiva on May 12th. It was the only day in a two week span that it didn't rain in Nashville. It was a beautiful, perfect, sunny day. Akiva had mixed-grade teams competing against each other. It was really fun to see the older kids working with the little ones. Gavi was on the Red Team. They decided to call themselved the "Red Recycling Robbers." [Other teams included the Pink Penguins, the Yelo-Phones, the Green Machines, and the Orange Oldies (yes, they had old people as their mascot)] Here is team cheer of the Red Recycling Robbers.

Gavi wants you to know that she did not write the cheer, but that the poster was partly her idea.

And here is some of the fun of field day!

While Gavi was playing games, Ben and I played a little catch with the football.
And then he was tired. He really was tired, but here he's just pretending to be asleep so I can see how tired he is and hopefully take him home.
